Geoff Palazzi
Registered pool safety inspector (QLD). Licensed pool builder. Former pool fence manufacturer. Structural landscaper. 35+ years in the industry.
Geoff trains and assesses the 11067NAT Course in Swimming Pool Safety Inspections. He is a registered pool safety inspector in Queensland and a licensed swimming pool builder, and he has worked as a pool fence manufacturer and structural landscaper. He knows how barriers are built, where they fail, and what a compliant installation looks like on a real block.
That practical background shapes how he teaches. He is passionate about helping students interpret the pool safety standards in plain language and apply them to reduce the risks to young Australians. Classes at Coopers Plains include access to a swimming pool with a pool barrier, so you practise inspections hands-on.
Geoff holds the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and has trained and mentored many apprentices and business managers. After the course he mentors students, including through the QBCC licence application, and helps you work through tricky inspection scenarios and stay compliant.
David Eadie
Registered Building Inspector (Pool Safety), BPC IN-PS 74310. Trainer and assessor for the VBAISP2020 course in Victoria.
Through his business, Pool Inspector Near Me, David has completed more than 2,000 pool and spa barrier inspections across metropolitan Melbourne, residential and commercial, old barriers and new. He is currently registered with the Building and Plumbing Commission and inspects pools every week.
David trains and assesses the VBAISP2020 Course in Swimming Pool and Spa Barrier Inspections at our venue in Highett, Melbourne. The course runs over five days and prepares you for registration with the Building and Plumbing Commission (BPC) as a Building Inspector (Pool Safety).
The course assessment includes 15 pool barrier inspections, and David reviews each one with you. He works through the judgement calls that the regulations alone don't cover: how to record evidence, issue certificates of compliance and non-compliance, and handle an owner who disagrees.
Class sizes are limited so every student gets one-on-one support. See our 5 star Google reviews.
